The Gathering Community Church was launched at Canning College in Bentley on Easter Sunday 2025. Paul & Sally dreamt of planting a church with a focus on evangelism,  developing healthy souls, developing community and  prayer.

The Gathering Community Church is dedicated to serving the community through vibrant, Bible-centred worship services filled with energy and creativity. We offer an engaging children’s church and meaningful connect groups (Little Gatherings) to foster strong relationships.

The Gathering Community Church was planted by Harvestnet, a church planting movement that is passionate about championing church pioneers in Australia. Our hope is to one day see multiple church plants come out of The Gathering Community Church.

Pastor Paul & Sally Ray

Paul has a heart for seeing the lost saved and to see healthy discipleship take place. Sally loves preaching and teaching and wants to see people grow in their God-given gifts and talents.

Paul and Sally have been married for 25 years and have two beautiful children, Emma and Elijah. Paul is a small business owner and recently completed studies at Alphacrucis Bible College. Sally is a primary school teacher and has taught for 23 years at Rehoboth Christian College.  Paul is a keen fisherman and Sally loves good food, travel and watching  football.
